Project 2: Surrey Art Gallery Proposal - Interactive Prototype

From IAT 222 Artist Showcase

DUE WEEK 9: March 6/08

You are required to propose an exhibition to the Surrey Art Gallery in terms of the specific technical, infrastructure and institutional requirements of the gallery, including developing a model or prototype. The Interactive Prototype will be an elaboration of your team’s concept plan from project one. You will be revisiting the concept and developing it using a model (3D or other appropriate model).

The focus of this assignment is locating an artistic concept within the specific context of a proposal for the Surrey Art Gallery. You will make your proposal as an artist team. You will propose a digital media exhibit - eg. mechanical, acoustic and electronic. If you have developed a non-electronic project for your concept you should envisage a translation to digital media so as to address the Surrey art gallery's requirements.
